  1. THE HOLY BIBLE

The Bible is given by divine inspiration for “doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. “We believe that the 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament are infallible and accurate. We believe that the Holy Scriptures inherently reveal the will of God concerning all things necessary to our salvation so that whatever is not contained therein nor may be proved thereby is not to be enjoined as an article of faith (II Timothy 3: 16 17; II Peter 1: 20, 21; Revelation. 22: 18 – 19).

  1. THE GODHEAD

The Godhead consists of three Persons in one – Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. These three are one but are separate, distinct Persons, possessing separate, distinct, and recognizable personalities and qualities, perfectly united in one. They are not three names for one Person. (Matthew 3: 16, 17; II Corinthians 13: 14; Matthew 28: 19, 20).

  1. VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS

The virgin birth of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. The crucifixion, death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ – Isaiah 7: 14; Matthew 1: 1&25; Romans 1: 4; I Corinthians 15: 3, 4.

  1. TOTAL DEPRAVITY, SINFULNESS, AND GUILT OF ALL MEN

The fall of man through Adam and Eve has subjected him to God’s wrath and condemnation. Man became a sinner by nature and by choice. Romans 5: 12 – 17; Psalm 51:5; Job 14: 4; Romans 3:23; Mark 7:21-23; Ephesians 2: 1-3.

  1. REPENTANCE

This is a change of mind and will, which is brought about as a result of Godly sorrow for sin with a renunciation of sin. Acts 3:19;20:21 II Corinthians 7:10; Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:7; Ezekiel 18:21-23; Mark 1:15; Luke 24:46,47.

  1. RESTITUTION

The Scriptures teach that wrongs committed against our fellowmen for which we can make amendments must be put right to maintain a conscience void of offence toward God and man. Those include restoring stolen items, paying back debts, restoring where one has defrauded, making confessions to the offended, and apologizing to those slandered. Gen. 20: 1-8; 14-18; Exodus. 18:21;22:3; Lev. 6:1-7; Num. 5:6-8; II Sam. 12: 1-6; Proverbs. 6:31; Ezek. 33: 14-16; Matthew 5:23, 24; Luke 19: 8, 9; Acts 23: 1-5; 24:16.

  1. JUSTIFICATION

Justification means “to be declared righteous before God.” It is an act of God’s grace by which we receive remission of sins and stand before God as though we had never sinned. Acts 13:39; Romans 3:25,26; 5:1, I Corinthians. 6:11; Gal. 3:24; John 1:12,13 3;3 II Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; I Peter 1:23; Acts 10: 43.

  1. WATER BAPTISM

This is a sign of a believer’s death, burial, and resurrection together with Christ. Water baptism is essential in order “to fulfill all righteousness” after repenting from sin. One immersion (not three) “in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost,” as Jesus commanded. Mathew. 28:19; 3:13-17; Mark 16: 15,16; Acts 2:38, 8: 38, 39; 19: 1-6; Romans 6: 4.,5; Colo 3:13.

  1. THE LORD’S SUPPER

Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper so that all members of the body of Christ (believers in Christ) mighty partake thereof regularly to “shew the Lord’s death till He comes.” “Unleavened bread” and the juice of “fruit of the vine” are the emblems used. I Corinthians 11:23- 26; Luke 22; 17-20; Mathew 26: 26-29.

  1. ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION

This is an act of God’s grace by which we are made holy. It is not a progressive act, but a definite experience wrought by the blood of Jesus through faith and subsequent to salvation and the new birth. The original sin (inbred sin) still continues to exist after regeneration, though suppressed, until crucified (eradicate) and destroyed through sanctification. The practice of true holiness is essential as enjoined in the scriptures. Luke 1:74, 75; John 17: 15 – 17; I Thessalonians 4:3,7, 8; 5:22-24; Ephesians. 5:25-27; Heb. 2:11; 10:10, 14: 13: 11,12; Titus 2:11 – 14; I John 1:7; Heb. 12:14; I Pet. 1:14 – 16.

  1. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the enduement of Power from on High upon the clean, sanctified life. When one receives this gift of the Holy Spirit, it is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Matthew. 3:11; 1:8; Luke 3:16;24: 49; John 1:30- 33; 7:37-39; 14:16,17,26; 16: 12-15 Acts 1: 58; Mark 16: 17; Acts 2:1-18; 10:44-46; 19: 1-6. We believe that diversities of the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation today. I Corinthians 12:1- 31; 14: 1-40.

  1. REDEMPTION, HEALING, AND HEALTH

In the atonement, healing of sickness and disease, as well as continual health, are God’s provisions for his people. Sickness is the work of the devil, and Jesus “was manifested to destroy the works of the devil” I John 3:8; III John 2; Isaiah 53: 4,5 Matthew. 8:17; Mark 16: 18; James 5: 14 – 16; Luke 13: 16; Acts 10: 38; Exodus. 15:26; Deut. 7:15; Psalm 103: 1-5; Proverbs. 4:20-22. Providential means and agencies, when deemed necessary, should not be refused. I Timothy. 5:23.

  1. PERSONAL EVANGELISM

The Word of God abundantly teaches that the Great Commission is a God-ordained task of the Church of Christ. Every Christian is given the commandment to go and preach the Gospel by Jesus Christ. This commandment must be obeyed whether by personal evangelism or mass – evangelism. Matthew 28:3; Ezek. 3:17-21. None is exempted from this God-given ministry. All saved souls are to be involved wholeheartedly.

  1. MARRIAGE

Marriage is a divine institution. It is binding for life. God forbids polygamy. Monogamy is God’s perfect will for man, and it is the uniform teaching to the Bible. It is contrary for a believer to contract marriage with an unbeliever. Under the New Testament law, the law of Christ, no one has a right to divorce and marry again while the first companion lives. Proverbs 31: 10-21; Deut. 7:1-4; Joshua 23: 11 – 13; II Corinthians 6: 14-18; Ephesians. 5: 31-33; Romans 7: 2, 3: Matthew 5:31-32; 19: 3-9; Mal. 2: 14, 15.

  1. THE RAPTURE

The Rapture (commonly referred to as the first phase or stage of the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST) is the catching away from the earth, of all living saints and all who died in the Lord. The Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation and can happen any time from now. “In a twinkling of an eye” Without a moment’s warning, “the trumpet shall sound” “and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the airs and so shall we ever be with the Lord” – John 14:1-3; Luke 21:34-36; I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18 5:4-9; 2Thessalonians 2: 57; is waiting for. It is the catching away of all true believers in Christ to meet the Lord in the air (I Thessalonians 4:16): Christ, at the end of His first advent, was in like manner taken up in the air to go and prepare a place for His own. The parting promise from God was that Jesus will return in like manner to receive His ‘Bride’ to be with forever (Acts 1:9-11; John 14:1-3).

  1. RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

This is clearly taught in the Bible that the bodies of the just and of the unjust shall be raised to live and unite with their spirits. Every individual who has ever lived will be resurrected, some to honour and glory and others to everlasting shame and contempt. Job 19:25-27; Ps. 71:20; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12:2; Phil 3:8-11; Revelation 20:46,12,13.

  1. THE GREAT TRIBULATION

This is known as the time Jacob’s Trouble, which will occur after the Rapture and will be a time of terrible suffering on earth. Matthew 24:21, 22, 29; 13:1-10; Revelation 9:16; Isaiah 26:20 21; Mark 13:19; Jeremiah 30:7; Daniel 8:23-25; Malachi 4:1. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place while the Tribulation continues on earth. Revelation 19: 1-10,

  1. SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

There will be two appearances under the Second Coming: First is the catching away from the earth of all living saints and those who died in the Lord to meet the Lord in the Air. (John 14: 1-3; I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians. 4:13-18). Furthermore, the second is the coming to execute judgment upon the ungodly. The latter will be just as literal and visible as His going away. (Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 1:7-11; Jude 14, 15; Zechariah 14:3,4).

  1. CHRIST MILLENNIAL REIGN

Christ’s Millennial Reign is the 1,000 years’ literal reign of Jesus on earth, which will be ushered in by the coming of Jesus back to earth with ten thousands of His saints. At this time, He will judge the nations that dwell upon the face of the earth. Jude 14, 15; I Thessalonians. 1:7-10. During this time, the devil will be bound. Revelation 20:2,3. It will be a reign of peace and blessing, Isaiah. 11:6-9; 65:25; Hosea 2:18; Zech 14:9-20; Isaiah 2:2-4.

  1. THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT

God will finally judge the quick and the dead, small and great according to their works. This is after the Millennial. All who have not yet been judged will stand before God at this time. True believers’ sins have been judged on the cross through the death of Christ, so they are exempted from the Great White Throne Judgment. The devil and his angels will be judged and sent to the lake of fire. Daniel 2:2,3; Matthew 10: 15; 14:21-24; 12:41, 42,; John 5:28, 29; Acts 10:42 Revelation. 20: 11-14.

  1. NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH

The Holy Bible teaches that this earth which has been polluted by sin shall pass away after the White Throne Judgment, and God will create a new heaven and a new earth, in which righteousness shall dwell. Nothing unclean will be found there except they whose names are written: “in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” Matthew 24:35; Isaiah 66:22; Psalm 102:25, 26; II Peter 3:12,13; Isaiah 65: 17; Revelation 21: 1-7; 22: 1-5.

  1. HELL FIRE

The word of God teaches that hell is eternal as heaven. Matthew 25:41-46. The wicked shall be cast into a burning hell, a lake of fire burning with brimstone forever and ever. Revelation 14:14:10,11: Luke 16: 24; Mark 9:43,
